Why AVO?

How does AVO really work?

AVO solutions work by reducing incoming voltage down to a steady 230 volts which is the standard for all electrical devices (single phase) in Australia. AVO also works on three phase circuits.

 

Electricity suppliers deliver electricity to the switch room in your premises at anything between 240 volts and 253 volts, because they are obliged to increase the voltage to avoid losses during transmission from the power station and have Service Delivery Agreements for minimum voltage to customers.
